I read a post on here when searching for Hal Jordan pics, saying Geoff is writing a Hal Jordan for fans who hate Hal. That totally set me off, because I am currently loving how much Geoff is writing Hal in Justice League and Green Lantern.
He writes Hal full of life in Justice League, especially in the last issue he was great trying to fight Darkseid and still didn’t give up even with a broken arm and injuries. Also love the “We Got This!” line and his dialogue with Bruce and Barry. Quick-Thinking, a bit corny and awesome, that’s Hal for you. Also love the Bruce/Hal friendship that seems to be coming from Justice League because it has been great.
Hal in Green Lantern I love because it’s Hal learning from Sinestro again as he rediscovers himself. Hal is becoming something more than he was especially with going back to Carol and wanting to make it work with her. I really hope to see Hal and Carol married sometime soon.
Well I can’t wait for the Indigo Tribe arc in Green Lantern and the Justice League moving into the current timeline.
After reading Flashpoint #1, The Outsider intrigues me a lot. I like him because he seems smart and knows what he’s doing, he looks cool and looks really powerful if he is going up against Black Adam (Solicit of Flashpoint: The Outsider #2 by James Robinson). Well Flashpoint just brings a lot of new characters and possibilities to the DCU, I just hope it ends as good as it begins.
I love Wesley Dodds, The Original Sandman. I’m glad he is in Flashpoint and hopefully he comes back to the main DCU afterward.
Also love that it’s Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s Father, makes him feel like a different character with a completely different depth than Bruce.
From Green Lantern Corps #59 by Tony Bedard and Tyler Kirkham and the Previous issue of Green Lantern #65 by Geoff Johns and Doug Mahnke, The Green Lanterns of Earth switched colors to be able to have some defense against the Krona controlled Green Lanterns. I love them doing this showing the depths they are willing to go to to save the universe. Just another reason why I love Hal Jordan and the other Green Lanterns. I’ve been loving War of the Green Lanterns and can’t wait to see what happens next. =D
